Went to Jurong East Swimming Complex with Ken, Vin, JX, YS and TB. We had agree to go to Wild Wild Wet, but due to the lack of participation, we had a last minute change of location. We started the day fun with the Lazy River. The lazy river as suggested by its name tells you that it is for lazy people, like US.. We "play" in the river and allow the current to drag us along. We met another group of teens who were building a train with the floats, and we join in the fun. Along the course, we all invite the surrounding people to join in, and so the line build on from the initial 6 to 9, and eventually 17.

The slide is something worth mentioning. I started off with the Yellow slide. Although the ride was short, i ought to admit, that was the time when i drink the most. As you all may/ may not know, i don't really know how to swim. When i was send out of the slide, i was "flush" into the water straight. I wasn't given to chance to get ready and the next moment, i was already in the water. Thankfully, the depth of water was only 1.0m...hehe =D
After that, we went on to challenge the BLUE slide. As you all can see from the photo below, the blue slide is must higher and with more turns. For someone who do not exactly know how to swim (me) plus at such HEIGHT, it was kind of like don't want to try it. However, I still try in the end. The ride down was much faster than that of the yellow slide. Due to its design, you will have a tendency to rotate inside the tube, 1 round follow by another. After I exit the slide, for a moment, I was like "goong" or dizzy. The slide down was thrilling. I didn't regret going down that slide. I supposed it was a good experience.. =)
The Slide
The last item we had was the wave pool. We were kind of a bit late, ended up missing the previous wave. Hence, loiter around the edge of the pool talking crap. Army men = Army days = talk about army. Heard the bell for the next wave, we move ourselves closer and deeper to the centre, hoping to get the best out of it. And so, let the WAVE begin... The wave come one after another, but when we were deeper inside the water, I find the intensity of the wave to be kind of disappointing. It was just like taking the ferry from SFT (SAF Ferry Terminal) to TFT (Tekong Ferry Terminal). We ride in the wave and let it carry us back. We sat by the edge of the pool and allow the wave to hit us. I find the wave there to be exciting. The wave is so strong that I can hardly sit upright. =x

11 April 2010 (Part 2)
Dedicate this portion to my wonderful friends. Firstly, to JX who will be enlisted tml. Tekong was an island where i once spent 17 weeks on. It was a place with many memories, many experiences. There will be good times or bad times. Most importantly, be sure to live everyday to the fullest and leave that place with no regret but a mind fill with memories. Take Care...
Secondly, to TB who will be going for his University interview tml. In life, there will always be many first time. Some earlier, some later. Try to calm yourself down and dont get too nervous. All will be done before you know it. Hope everything turn out well and you can get to the course of your choice. Good Luck and All The Best!! =D
